Nilay Kılınç is an Istanbul-born social anthropologist with a focus on migration studies. She is based in Helsinki and works as a postdoctoral researcher in the University of Helsinki. Nilay is an academic nomad with 11-year living and working experience in Sweden, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria. Nilay holds a BA degree in International Relations from Istanbul Bilgi University, MA degree in European Studies from Lund University and PhD degree in Migration and Mobility Studies from University of Surrey. She studied drama in Istanbul City Conservatory, acted in a musical and in several theatre plays during her youth. She focused on script writing and directing early on. Her over-a-decade friendship with Alexander Brugger from LM.Media helped her understand and develop film production, and gave birth to the documentary film Arkadaşloch - Nobody's Problem.

Alexander Brugger is an Austrian-born film maker. He is based in Linz and works as a DOP, colourist and editor. He is one of the co-founders of LM.Media GmbH, a film production company which is active since 2012. Alexander’s area of expertise is in advertisement industry in particular with a focus on image films, branded content and different documentary formats. During his bachelor studies, Alexander had a semester abroad through Erasmus Exchange programme in Istanbul Bilgi University, Film Studies department wherein he met Nilay Kılınç. In 2015, Alexander started working in the documentary project Arkadaşloch - Nobody’s Problem in Antalya.

Markus Bauer is an Austrian-born film maker, who works as an editor, DOP, director and concept creator in Linz-based LM.Media GmbH. Markus is the CEO and the co-founder of LM.Media GmbH. Markus’ area of expertise is in advertisement industry in particular with a focus on image films, branded content and different documentary formats. He finished his M.A. degree in Communication Studies with a focus on digital and electronic communication in 2016. Markus joined the Arkadaşloch - Nobody’s Problem’s post-production team in 2018 as the editor.
